Qatar strongly condemns Israel’s decision to halt humanitarian aid to Gaza

DOHA, March 2, 2025 (WAFA) – The State of Qatar strongly condemned the Israeli occupation government's decision to halt the entry of humanitarian aid into the Gaza Strip, slamming it as a blatant violation of the ceasefire agreement, international humanitarian law, the Fourth Geneva Convention and all religious principles.

In a statement issued on Sunday, the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs reaffirmed Qatar’s absolute rejection of using food as a weapon of war and starving civilians.

It urged the international community to hold Israel accountable and ensure the safe, sustained and unobstructed entry of humanitarian aid into all areas of Gaza.

The ministry also reiterated Qatar’s firm stance in support of the Palestinian cause and the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including their right to establish an independent state on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
