PARIS, February 26, 2025 (WAFA) – France Wednesday expressed concern over the stepped-up Israeli military aggression operations in refugee camps in the northern occupied West Bank governorates of Jenin, Tulkarm, and Tubas.
The French Foreign Ministry called on in a press statement the Israeli occupation authorities to exercise the utmost restraint in the use of force and to ensure the protection of civilian populations, in accordance with international humanitarian law.
It noted that these operations have reportedly already resulted in the displacement of 40,000 Palestinians, emphasizing that the forcible displacement of populations is contrary to international law.
France called on the occupying authorities to allow civilians displaced by the aggression to swiftly return home.
