RAMALLAH, February 13, 2025 (WAFA) – Estonian President Alar Karis laid a wreath today, Thursday, at the tomb of the late Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.
President Karis was received by Ahmed Soboh, Chairman of the Yasser Arafat Foundation, and Mohammad Halayka, Director of the Yasser Arafat Museum. Soboh and Halayka accompanied the Estonian president and his delegation on a tour of the museum, where they provided an overview of key events in the Palestinian cause over the past century and significant moments in Arafat’s life.
Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met with the Estonian leader in Ramallah to discuss the latest developments in Palestine and ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two nations.
As part of his visit, President Karis also toured the Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem and the adjacent St. Catherine’s Church.
