GAZA, December 24, 2024 (WAFA) - The number of civilians killed in an earlier Israeli airstrike targeting a residential building in the town of Jabalia in northern Gaza today has risen to nine.
According to WAFA correspondent, the fatalities include a man, his wife, five siblings from the Abu Warda family, and two others. The strike targeted a building belonging to the Abu Warda family in the Nazla area, west of Jabalia.
Israel’s ongoing aggression on Gaza by land, sea, and air, since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 45,338 civilians, the majority of whom are women and children, and the injury of 107,764 others.
Thousands of victims remain trapped under rubble and scattered on the streets, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to relentless Israeli shelling and the massive amount of debris.
