TULKAREM, December 24, 2024 (WAFA) - (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman, from the Tulkarem refugee camp, succumbed on Tuesday evening to critical wounds she sustained at dawn today following an Israeli airstrike that targeted a house in the Al-Hamam neighborhood of the camp.

The Ministry of Health confirmed that Bara’a Khalid Hussein Al-Sheikh Ali, 30, succumbed to the critical wounds she sustained in the head and chest following the airstrike at dawn today.

With the killing of the young woman, the number of Palestinians killed in Israel’s ongoing military assault against the Tulkarem refugee camp since dawn today has reached three.

The other victims include Khawla Ali Abdullah Abdu, 53, who was killed in an Israeli strike, and Fathi Said Salem Obaid,18, who was shot by Israeli soldiers in the chest and abdomen.

At dawn today, Israeli forces launched a major military incursion into the Tulkarem area, targeting the densely populated Tulkarem refugee camp. The attack resulted in multiple casualties and widespread destruction of homes, businesses and infrastructure. The onslaught also included the use of drones to target civilian areas, exacerbating the already dire humanitarian situation.
