Colonists commence construction of colonial road west of Bethlehem

BETHLEHEM, Sunday, July 7, 2024 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists began today constructing a colonial road on a Palestinian-owned land in Husan village, west of Bethlehem in the occupied West Bank. The road stretches 200 meters in length and 20 meters in width.

Rami Hamamreh, the director of the village council of Husan, informed our correspondent that colonists have escalated their attacks on villagers' lands since October 7th, particularly those adjacent to the Beitar Illit settlement. These actions aim to displace residents and seize lands for colonial ambitions.

Earlier today, colonists also commenced excavations on lands adjacent to the Sidi Boaz colonial outpost, located on lands belonging to citizens in the Ein Qassis area, affiliated with the Orthodox Patriarchate, west of the neighboring town of al-Khader.
