GAZA, Saturday, May 18, 2024 (WAFA) – Five civilians were killed and several others injured today in an Israeli airstrike targeting a group of people in the Nuseirat refugee camp, located in central Gaza, according to local sources.
The sources reported that Israeli occupation forces directly targeted a group of citizens on Street 20 in Nuseirat camp, resulting in the murder of five people and injuries to others.
In northern Gaza, meanwhile, medical sources confirmed that the death toll from an earlier Israeli airstrike on Jabalia refugee camp has risen to 28. The victims include 10 children and 10 women, with a large number of injuries. This attack targeted a residential square near Kamal Adwan Hospital.
In addition, since early Saturday, 18 more Palestinian have been killed as a result of the indiscriminate Israeli attacks in various areas across central and southern Gaza, according to the same medical sources.
The ongoing Israeli onslaught on Gaza since October 7 has resulted so far in 35,386 documented Palestinian fatalities, with an additional 79,366 individuals sustaining injuries, according to the local health authorities. The majority of the victims are women and children.
