JERUSALEM, Thursday, May 16, 2024 (WAFA) - A Palestinian youth was Thursday killed by Israeli occupation in the city of Jerusalem.
Eyewitnesses said that the occupation forces opened fire on a young man on Salah al-Din Street, after claiming that allegedly attempted to carry out a stabbing attack.
Lawyer Mohammad Mahmoud from the Wadi Hilweh Information Center said that Nour Nizar Shihabi, 17, from Al-Sawana neighborhood in Jerusalem, was killed after being shot in the Bab Al-Sahira area on Salah Al-Din Street.
With the killing of Shihabi, the number of slain Palestinians in the West Bank since dawn today has risen to four, following the killing of as Ayman Ahmad Mubarak, Husam Imad Da’bas, and Mohammed Yusif Nasrallah, aged 26, 22, and 27, respectively, by Israeli forces after midnight on Wednesday during an Israeli military offensive against the city of Tulkarem and its northern towns.
