JERUSALEM, Monday, April 6, 2024 (WAFA) – Some 20,000 worshippers preformed today the Isha and Taraweeh prayers at Jerusalem’s flashpoint Al-Aqsa Mosque compound.
An estimated 200,000 Muslim worshipers attended the Isha and Taraweeh prayers at the mosque compound despite the tightened restrictions and beefed-up military deployments at the holy site gates and across the Old City of Jerusalem.
The occupation police beefed up their presence in the Old City and the surrounding area, scrutinizing the identities of young men and inspecting them.
