RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 22, 2023 (WAFA) – A rise in temperature is expected today in Palestine to become 2°C above its annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
Winds are northwesterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low.
Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 19°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 28°C and a low of 18°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 38°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 30°C and a low of 23°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Another rise in temperature is expected tomorrow, Friday, to become 3°C above its annual average, and again on Saturday to become 4°C above the annual average, while temperature and weather conditions continue the same on Sunday, said the PMD, which warned against being exposed to sunlight for a long time in peak hours or setting fire in areas with dry grass.
