RAMALLAH, Tuesday, June 13, 2023 (WAFA) – Weather today in Palestine is partially cloudy with a rise in temperature, as scattered rain showers are expected in some areas, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Winds are northwesterly to northeasterly, light to moderate, and sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in the capital, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 28°C and a low of 21°C, and in Ramallah and Hebron a high of 27°C and a low of 20°C are expected. In Jericho, the Dead Sea, and the Jordan Valley temperature is expected to reach a high of 39°C and a low of 26°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 29°C and a low of 24°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Temperature rises further on Wednesday approaching 2-3°C above the seasonal average, paving the way to relatively hot conditions, said the PMD.

Thursday’s weather is expected to be partially cloudy as temperature drops and becomes a bit lower than its annual average.

Clear conditions are expected for Friday, with a rise in temperature, becoming around its annual average.

PMD warned citizens against slippery roads in areas where rain is expected.
