HEBRON, Saturday, May 6, 2023 (WAFA) – The Israeli occupation forces today suppressed an anti-settlements protest in Maghayer al-Abeed community in Masafer Yatta in the South Hebron Hills, according to a local activist.
Rateb Jabour, active in the anti-settlements movement, told WAFA that soldiers fired tear gas and stun grenades at the protesters and provided protection to settlers roaming the area.
He said the soldiers held journalists, including a WAFA driver, and prevented them from reaching the site of the protest.
