HEBRON, Sunday, April 23, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces detained five Palestinian civilians this evening in the occupied West Bank provinces of Hebron and Bethlehem, according to local sources.

In Hebron, Israeli occupation army stormed the Bedouin village of Arab al-Kaabneh, near the town of Yatta, and arrested four Palestinian residents, all of them from the al-Kaabneh clan, said Foad Le'mour, a local Palestinian activist.

Le'mour said the four Palestinians were arrested after they set up a tent on a Palestinian-owned land in the village in defiance of attempts by hard-right Israeli settler groups to take over the land by force.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation soldiers arrested a Palestinian young man while he was trying to cross the Israeli military checkpoint of Container, to the north of Bethlehem. He was identified as Diaa Nawawreh.
