HEBRON, Sunday, April 9, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers Sunday raided the area of Bab al-Zawiya, center of the occupied West Bank city of Hebron as well as the Yatta park in the village of al-Carmel, sources said.
WAFA correspondent said that dozens of Israeli settlers, and under protection from the Israeli forces, raided the aforementioned area, heading to an archeological site according to their claims.
He added that the Israeli forces raided the street, and forced people to close their shops as the settlers went to their destination while dancing, singing and chanting racist slogans and insults against Arabs at a time where Palestinians had to be evacuated from the streets.
Rateb al-Jabour, an activist, told WAFA that dozens of settlers from illegal settlements east of Yatta raided the local park there.
He added that the soldiers assaulted Mohammad al-Shawaheen, leaving him with bruises.
