DAMASCUS, Sunday, April 2, 2023 (WAFA) – Five soldiers were injured last night in an Israeli attack which targeted outposts in Syria’s Homs province, according to the Syrian Defense Ministry.
Israel launched “an aerial aggression from the direction of northwest Beirut targeting some outposts in Homs city and its countryside at 00:35 am” (21:35 GMT), the Syrian defense ministry said in a statement published by state media.
Syrian air defences intercepted the missiles and shot down some of them, it said.
A Syrian military source told state media that the attacks caused some material damage with five military personnel injured.
