JERICHO, Saturday, February 25, 2023 (WAFA) – Residents of the ancient West Bank city of Jericho today held a protest at the entrance to Aqbat Jabr refugee camp demanding that Israel releases the bodies of the Palestinians its forces have killed during a raid of the camp on February 6 and the bodies of other Palestinians withheld for months and years.

The participants in the protest raised Palestinian flags and banners condemning the Israeli crimes against the dead Palestinians and their families, stressing that withholding the bodies of the dead is a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law and an immoral act.

Five Palestinians were killed during the army raid on the refugee camp on that day.
