BETHLEHEM, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 (WAFA) – A 19-year-old Palestinian was arrested today after he answered a summons by an Israeli intelligence officer, according to an activist.

Ahmad Salah, an activist, said Ahmad Yousef Atwan, from the town of al-Khader, south of the southern West Bank city of Bethlehem, was arrested after he was summoned to appear before an Israeli occupation officer at Gush Etzion settlement block built on Bethlehem-area lands.

No reason was given for his arrest.

The Palestinian Prisoner’s Society said the Israeli occupation forces today detained at least 27 Palestinians in the occupied territories.
