JERUSALEM, Friday, January 20, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli police assaulted today activists affiliated with Fatah movement while on their way back home after visiting Karim Younis, a Palestinian freedom fighter who was released yesterday after serving 40 years in Israeli prisons.
Witnesses said Israeli police officers stopped a bus carrying a Fatah delegation on its way back to Jerusalem after visiting Younis in his hometown of Ar'ara, in 1948-occupied Palestine. The police reportedly assaulted four activists on board the bus and briefly detained 25 others.
