NABLUS, Friday, December 9, 2022 (WAFA) – At least seven Palestinians were injured by Israeli gunfire today during confrontations with the Israeli occupation forces in the occupied West Bank provinces of Nablus and Hebron, according to local and medical sources.
In Nablus province, one Palestinian was injured by live Israeli bullets in the hand and chest during confrontations in the village of Usarin, and was moved to hospital for medical treatment. His condition was described as stable. Five others were injured by rubber-coated rounds during the confrontations, while many others sustained suffocation from teargas inhalation.
Meantime, a Palestinian protester was injured by live Israeli bullets and others suffocated from teargas during confrontations in the town of Beit Ummar, in Hebron province.
The injured was moved to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Mohammad Awad, a local Palestinian activist in the town, told WAFA that the confrontations broke out against the backdrop of the daily Israeli human rights violations in Palestine.
