Palestinian-owned land razed by an Israeli bulldozer, stone and retaining walls demolished in Bethlehem-area village

BETHLEHEM, Wednesday, December 7, 2022 (WAFA)- An Israeli army bulldozer today razed a Palestinian-owned land and demolished stone and retaining walls in the village of al-Walaja, west of Bethlehem, according to the head of al-Walaja village council Khader al-Araj.

He said that a large Israeli army force raided Ein Jweisa area in the village before a bulldozer proceeded to raze land and destroy the walls in a four-dunum plot of land owned by a local resident.

He said that the Israeli occupation authorities prevent Palestinian development in that area and demolish homes in an effort to empty the land from its Palestinian dwellers,
