Israeli settlers attack Palestinian properties, uproot trees in Ramallah-area village

 

RAMALLAH, Thursday, October 20, 2022 (WAFA) – Israeli settlers today set fire to a vehicle and uprooted trees belonging to Palestinian residents in the village of al- Mughayyir to the northeast of Ramallah, according to one of the attack victims.

One of the attack victims, Mazen Mohammed, told WAFA settlers set fire to his brother’s vehicle and attacked his land, uprooting around 80 olive and almond saplings.

He said that settlers, backed by Israeli forces, also set fire to a water tank placed in the land.

Clashes reportedly broke out in the village following the settlers’ attack, during which forces attacked residents with stun grenades and tear gas canisters. No injuries were reported.
