RAMALLAH, Saturday, December 12, 2020 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said today that one more death from coronavirus and 174 new infections were registered during the last 24 hours for Palestinians living in the Diaspora.
It said Omar Khashram, a Palestinian national and journalist who works as a correspondent for the Doha-based Al Jazeera TV, died today in the Republic of Turkey, bringing up the total number of Palestinians living abroad who died of the novel virus to 327.
Meanwhile, 170 more infections were registered among the Palestinian community in the United States, while four new cases were registered for Palestinians in Turkey.
These latest figures bring up the number of infections reported among the Palestinians living in the Diaspora since the outbreak of the pandemic to 8425, said the ministry.
