RAMALLAH, Friday, November 27, 2020 (WAFA) – The Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Ministry Thursday night recorded 57 new Covid-19 cases and two fatalities among Palestinians in the diaspora.
The Ministry stated that two Palestinians, a 63-year-old man and a 68-year-old woman, died of the novel coronavirus in Saudi Arabia, bringing the death toll among Palestinians in the country to 106.
In the US, the ministry added that 51 Palestinians tested positive for the highly contagious virus in Chicago, New York and New Jersey, raising the total confirmed cases among Palestinians in the country to 4,571.
In Italy, three Palestinians contracted the virus, raising the total confirmed cases among Palestinians in the country to 203, as confirmed in the ministry’s statement.
In Spain, the ministry confirmed three new Covid-19 cases, raising the total confirmed cases among Palestinians in the country to 39.
According to the latest coronavirus data, the confirmed cases and fatalities among the Palestinian diaspora reached 7,454 and 309 respectively.
