BETHELHEM, October 21, 2013 (WAFA) –
Israeli authorities Monday ordered Wadi Fukin village council to stop the
construction work on a new park in the village of Wadi Fukin, west of
Bethlehem, according to security sources.
They told WAFA that one of the
village residents found a notice on the park land ordering them to stop the
construction work on the park under the pretext of “being built without permit
and on land that falls under full Israeli control”.
To be noted, the village of Wadi
Fukin has been targeted by settlers’ attacks, including the seizing of agricultural
land, in addition to pumping waste water coming from settlement into the village
land.
