Suffocation Cases among Students in Clashes with Israeli Soldiers

JERUSALEM, September 8, 2013 (WAFA) – Tens of students and employees of Al-Quds University Sunday suffered suffocation after Israeli soldiers fired tear gas canisters toward the university in the East Jerusalem town of Abu Dees, according to witnesses.

They told WAFA that Israeli soldiers confiscated five vehicles and forced their owners to park them horizontally in the middle of the street to use it as a shield from the provoked students’ stones.

Those present during the confrontations said tens were treated in the field, but two cases were transferred to hospital for treatment.
