HEBRON, June 9, 2012 (WAFA) – The Israeli army Saturday prevented Palestinians from completing the building of a mosque in an area near Yatta, east of Hebron, according to a local activist.
Member of the Popular Committee against the Wall and Settlements, Fadel Raba, said Israeli military vehicles surrounded the site where the mosque was being built and forced workers to stop the construction.
He said construction of the mosque started over a year ago but it was never completed because the Israeli army regularly raid the area and stop the work, Raba added.
