Israeli Forces Raid Gaza Town, Open Fire at Schools, Homes

GAZA, May 2, 2012 (WAFA) – Israeli forces Wednesday raided the eastern part of Khuza'a, a town east of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip, and opened fire towards two schools, homes and agricultural land, according to witnesses.

They told WAFA that about 15 Israeli military vehicles, including bulldozers, raided the town and opened fire at the schools causing panic among the students, who were forced to evacuate them.

Meanwhile, Israeli tanks stationed at the eastern borders of the town of Beit Hanoun, north of the Gaza Strip, fired an artillery shell and opened machinegun fire towards agricultural land in the area.

No injuries were reported in both cases.
