RAMALLAH, November 5, 2011 (WAFA) – The Israeli authorities Saturday deported international activists who were on the two ships heading to break the blockade on Gaza the Israeli navy had seized in high waters on Friday, according to Israeli sources.

Israeli officials said six passengers were released and deported, including an Egyptian journalist and a Palestinian from inside Israel after he underwent interrogation.

The Israeli Ministry of Interior said it intends to return all activists to their home countries.

However, the remaining 21 activists who were on the boats asked to appear before a judge before they are deported.

The Israeli navy Friday commandeered the Canadian and Irish boats to the Israeli port city of Ashdod after coming close to the Gaza shores.
