PARIS, November 2, 2011 (WAFA) – The French government Wednesday condemned an Israeli cabinet decision to accelerate the construction of 2000 housing units in West Bank settlements in response to Palestine’s admission to UNESCO.
A foreign ministry spokesman told Agence France Presse that France, which shock everyone on Monday when it voted in favor of UNESCO seat for Palestine, was also very concerned over the Israeli government’s discussion regarding the possibility of freezing taxes and customs revenues Israel collects on behalf of the Palestinian Authority.
