RAMALLAH, November 2, 2011 (WAFA) – Israel seeks to undermine the Palestinian Authority's role through the collective punishment policy it pursues in opposing the Palestinian people’s rights, agreed on by the world, Wednesday said PLO Executive Committee Secretary, Yasser Abed Rabbo.
In an interview with Voice of Palestine, Abed Rabbo called on the United Nations and international community to promptly intervene to compel Israel to stop its systematic policy, which weakens the Palestinian Authority and its essential role.
He also called on the UN Security Council to adopt tougher policies toward Israel and to enforce sanctions against it for not honoring agreements.
