JERUSALEM, October 23, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers Sunday continued to search for a Jerusalemite stabbing suspect in Beik Iksa, a village northwest of Jerusalem, according to local sources.
An Israeli man was stabbed in Ramot neighborhood in East Jerusalem Saturday evening, allegedly by an Arab man who headed to Beit Iksa after the attack. The Israeli man was reported to be in moderate condition.
Israeli soldiers closed the checkpoint leading to the village, on Saturday night, and prevented Palestinians from leaving or entering it.
Moreover, Israeli soldiers raided the village, searched houses and arrested two Palestinians. Three other Palestinians were injured after Israeli soldiers battered them during the attempt to enter the village.
