LIMA, September 22, 2011 (WAFA) – Peru supports Palestine and the Palestinian bid to the United Nations Security Council, said President of Peruvian Parliament, Daniel Aboughattas, in a festival held in the Peruvian parliament headquarters on Thursday.
During the festival, Second Peruvian Deputy, Omar Shihadeh, said Palestine has the right to be state number 194 in the UN council.
Other Peruvian officials expressed their support for an independent Palestinian state based on 1967 borders and East Jerusalem as its capital.
