NEW YORK, September 19, 2011 (WAFA) –President Mahmoud Abbas informed on Monday United Nations (UN) Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, of his determination to apply for Palestine’s full membership at the UN on Friday, during their meeting at UN headquarters.
In a press conference, following Abbas’ meeting with Ki-moon, Martin Nesirky, Spokesperson for UN Secretary-General said that “Abbas informed ki-moon that he is determined to submit the request to gain full membership of a state of Palestine in the UN on Friday.”
