NEW YORK, September 19, 2011 (WAFA) - President Mahmoud Abbas arrived in New York on Monday in order to participate in the annual session of the United Nations General Assembly.
Abbas is due to meet several countries’ leaders to present the Palestinian stance regarding the recognition of a Palestinian state in the UN, as part of the Palestinian Authority’s efforts to gather support from world countries for its bid.
