JENIN, September 18, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli soldiers raided on Sunday Jenin’s entrance, set-up two military checkpoints and inspected south of Jenin city, in the Northern West Bank, according to witnesses.
Local sources told WAFA that Israeli forces raided Jenin’s southern entrance with tanks.
Sources added that the Israeli soldiers set up checkpoints, stopped and searched Palestinian vehicles and interrogated their occupants.
Israeli forces also deployed infantry divisions between olive groves, launching a campaign of inspections. No arrests were reported.
