RAMALLAH, September 7, 2011 (WAFA) – Palestine will participate in the Arab League Follow Up Peace Initiative meeting in Cairo next Monday to discuss the Palestinian leadership’s preparation to ask for United Nations membership for the State of Palestine later this month, said Foreign Minister Riyad al-Malki on Wednesday.
In an interview with a national radio station, al-Malki said Palestine will also participate in the Arab Foreign Minister Council meeting in Cairo on September 13 and will head this term of meetings for six months.
