NABLUS, September 7, 2011 (WAFA) – A large group of Jewish settlers broke into Joseph's Tomb, east of Nablus in the northern West Bank, Wednesday at dawn, and performed prayers there under Israeli army protection, said local sources.
This is the latest incident as settlers frequently break into the holy site to pray and perform religious rituals.
Joseph’s Tomb is in the Palestinian Authority areas and any visit by Israelis requires prior coordination between Israel and the PA, a fact regularly ignored by Jewish settlers who break into the tomb unauthorized.
