RAMALLAH, July 26, 2011 (WAFA) - Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA) monitored incitement and racism against the Palestinians and Arabs published by the Israeli media between July 15 and 21.
Jacob Chinvld wrote an instigating article published in Hamodia religious newspaper, in which he said that Hamas’ worthless leadership must understand that they are targeted by Israel. He said that Israel will destroy Hamas, unless they release the captured soldier Gilad Shalit.
He added, “Israel must deal with the murderers of children and shoot the Palestinian mothers who protect their Palestinian offspring who attack Israelis.”
Friedman said that “in order to understand the British public stance of Raed Salah we must remember that Salah claimed connections to another Palestinian Muslim leader who fought Zionism and the United Kingdom, Haj Amin al-Husseini.”
He explained, “Al-Husseini used the sacredness of Jerusalem in Islam to fuel the Palestinian anger against Israel, and Salah is doing the same. He is a terrorist who is working with other Muslim terrorists to encourage terrorism against Jews.”
Channel two (Israel) broadcasted news about a short movie produced by the Israeli Foreign Ministry serving the new campaign to improve Israel’s image in the world.
The movie titled ‘The Truth about the West Bank’ and produced by journalist Udi Segal, featured Israeli Deputy Foreign Minister, Danny Ayalon, questioning and answering “from whom did Israel occupy the West Bank? Did they occupy it from the Palestinians? No.”
“Palestine didn’t exist before 1967. No Palestinian or Arab country existed before 1967 in Israel, so Arabs must stop using terms such as ‘the Occupied Territories’ or ‘1967 borders’ because they are not correct,” he added.
He said, “The message is clear; the territories are not occupied and the settlements are legal.”
Israeli Major, Moshe Hsdaa published a racist article against Islam on ‘NFC’ website, in which he said, “After reading the Quran version translated to Hebrew, I understood why the fake terrorist Muslims read it and use it to justify their violence against Jews.”
He said, “Every place Muslims go to becomes a wreck. They destroy heaven and turn it into hell!”
Erick Bender published news on ‘NRG’ website on what he called ‘Offering privileges to Hamas’ prisoners. He said, “Despite of Netanyahu’s commitment to Israel, he didn’t really make any difference regarding the privileges that the Palestinian prisoners enjoy in Israeli prisons!”
Michael Ben-Ari also said, “We have reached a point where the saboteurs are the ones telling Israel what must be done in prisons. Only in Israel saboteurs as well as women and children murderers get privileges!”
‘Makor Rishon’ religious newspaper published an inciting article by extremist Rabbi, Shlomo Avnir, in which he described Arabs as ‘Thieves’, asking them to return the land of Israel to Jews.
He said, “Israel is our land according to the Torah. Arabs claim that Israel is their land, but this doesn’t mean they have the right to own our land.”
He added, “We never gave up our land ‘Israel’; Arabs occupied it and now they must return what they stole from us.”
‘Kikar Hashabat’ published an instigating piece of news against Palestinian prisoner, Marwan Barghouti, regarding his support to establishing a Palestinian state in September.
It said that “the murderer Barghouti calls for a massive demonstration of millions in the week the United Nations is going to discuss establishing a Palestinian state.”
‘Israel Today’ published an inciting article against the Islamic movement and Shiekh Raed Sala. The article claimed that the Islamic movement that Salah leads placed 500 fake gravestones in an Islamic cemetery in Jerusalem.
It also published another instigating article by Journalist Dan Mergelet, in which he said “the Knesset must dismiss Hanin Zoubi for her dangerous acts on the Flotilla to Gaza.”
“Any other light measures against her will encourage other Arab members from taking extreme stances as well,” he added.
Mergelet said that retracting the decision to dismiss Zoubi form the Israeli Knesset was a big disappointment.
