RAMALLAH, June 5, 2011 (WAFA) - Palestine News and Information Agency (WAFA) monitored incitement and racism against the Palestinians and Arabs published by the Israeli media between May 20 and 26.

‘Yated Neeman’ religious newspaper published a report by Hvroni under the title “Arab Residents of Israel are Thieves and Murderers”; in which he discussed Palestinians’ history in Israel. He instigated against Arabs, saying “Arabs living in Israel are allowed to steal our land, build fancy buildings, mosques and high towers without permits, steal our cattle, cars and properties, cut our trees, burn our forests and crops. An Arab is allowed to live in Jewish areas, but a Jew is not allowed to live in an Arab city!”

‘Ynetnews’ website published a letter by Miri Regev, Likud Knesset member, to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, in which she defined the basic axis, which he must focus on in his speech to the American Congress. She said, “I suggest expanding cooperation between US and Israel in their war against the Islamic terrorism, which is threatening the western democracy and the American-Israeli interests.”

She added that “Israel is the only stable and democratic country in an unstable area, as the riots in the Arab countries prove.”

Palestinian anti-Semitic instigation in the Palestinian education and media, as well as the terrorism reduce peace chances, She said. “Palestinians should change their behavior in order to achieve peace. When they do that, they will find a just cooperation from our side.The land of Israel belongs to Jews.”

‘Ynetnews’ website also said that the Jewish Home Knesset Member, Uri Orbach, suggested a speech for Netanyahu to be delivered to the U.S. Congress; in which he instigated against recognizing a Palestinian state next September, saying “Oslo accords brought destruction and terrorism upon Israel. If a Palestinian state is recognized next September, it will be an obvious violation of these agreements and Israel will be free of its commitment. We will demand our right in Judea and Samaria, the heritage of our ancestors!”

Despite of American policy, which is bias to Israel, the Israeli media heavily criticizes it and considers Barak Obama a pro-Palestinians ‘Muslim’ president. Yussi Hilvi said in an article published on ‘NFC’ website that there are no peace negotiations and agreements for a two-state solution.

He said, “Obama’s democracy turned into a secret shelter covering the murderers and enemies of the U.S., the Western world and Israel.” “The dreams of the murderers, Arafat and Abbas, are accomplished!”

‘Israel Today’ newspaper published a letter wrote by Likud Deputy Speaker of the Knesset, Ofir Oconnes, to Netanyahu asking him to officially announce that Israel will not give up the West Bank and accept a Palestinian state within the1967 borders.

He asked, “Do you remember September 1993 and Oslo? I fear such a September! Back then they brought a killer (Arafat) to the White House showing him their weakness by accepting and signing the accords. If we stand together, September 2011 will be better than September 1993.”

Ron Breiman published an instigating article on ‘NFC’, in which he said, “Enhancing relations with Yaser Arafat and with the anarchist organization (PLO) was illegal! No one thought that there will be a time in which they will start demanding Jews to leave Judea and Samaria.”

He added that establishing a state for the enemy in the heart of Israel threatens the Jewish state.

Israeli Right-Wing Activist, Moshe Feiglin, published a letter addressing Obama on ‘NRG’ website, after his last speech on the latest developments in the Middle East; in which he claimed that there were no Palestinians in Israel before.

“Every Muslim and Christian knows that this land belongs to Jews only!” he said.

Israeli Right-Wing Journalist, Ben Dror, published an article on ‘NRG’ website, in which he said, “ Netanyahu made many decisions, which didn’t achieve peace. However, it is not his fault, its Abbas’!”

He added, “Abbas, who is following Arafat’s path, announced that the Right to Return is a basic condition. The Palestinian refusal of Ehud Olmert’s conditions is the main reason behind Peace failure.” 

Israeli Journalist, Jay Bakhoor, instigated against Palestinians and held them responsible for their Nakba, in his article published in ‘Yedioth Ahronoth’. He called on the Israeli government to warn the Palestinians from doing any violent action against them.

He said, “Every violent action they start, ends with an Arab Nakba! No one caused the Nakba, they did. All who wish to start a new violent wave must know that there will no longer be any Palestinian Authority or Hamas leadership. In addition, Palestinians, as usual, will fall back half a century.”

‘Makor Rishon’ newspaper published an instigating article by Rabbi, Shlomo Avniri, in which he incited to expel Arab residents of East Jerusalem and place Jews instead. He said, “It is time to fully return to Jerusalem. We will occupy the whole city and fill it with Jews.”

He said, “We must enhance the Jewish existence in East Jerusalem…We didn’t win yet!”
