PEX Daily Report: Al-Quds Index Up in Week’s Final Trading Day

 

NABLUS, June 2, 2011 (WAFA) - The Al-Quds Index of the Palestine Exchange (PEX) closed Thursday trading at 499.65 points, an increase by 2.78 points (0.56%) compared with the previous day’s trading session, said a PEX report.

 

A total of 2,370,740 shares were traded with a value of $6,267,420.91 executed during 456 transactions.

 

Shares of 22 companies were traded. Share price increased in seven companies while they decreased in 10 others.

 

Top five gainers: GCOM by (3.77%), PADICO by (2.5%), JPH by (2.04%), UCI by (1.67%), BOP by (%1.31).

 

Top five decliners: ELECTRODE by (-4.89%), TIC by (-4.63%), AQARIYA by (-1.39%), AMB by (-1.25%), PIIC by (-1.2%).
