NABLUS,  June 2, 2011 (WAFA) – Settlers attacked Palestinian cars Thursday on the Ramallah-Nablus road in the West Bank, breaking car windows.

Ghassan Daghlas, the official monitoring settlers' activity in the northern West Bank, told WAFA: “Settlers set up traps on the road at dawn and threw stones at Palestinian cars, damaging several.”

He said that settlers’ violence has escalated in the past few weeks, and advised Palestinian motorists to take care on the road today.

This escalation comes in response to the latest evacuation of settlers from an illegal outpost, “Ein” southeast of Nablus.
