CAIRO, April 11, 2011 (WAFA) – The Palestinian embassy in Cairo said Monday that 169 Palestinian residents of the Gaza Strip who were stuck outside the borders of Egypt were able to return home on Sunday.
It said that all of those stuck outside were able to return through Cairo International Airport, and were directly transferred to the Rafah crossing with Gaza to return home.
The embassy advised Palestinians who want to return to Gaza through Cairo International Airport to do that during the week because the Egyptian authorities close the crossing on Fridays and Saturdays of each week.
