On the side of the Arab League Council meeting, which discussed recent Israeli aggression on Gaza, Sobih discussed peace process, as he told WAFA, that the Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, and his government are following up a Systematic escalation against Gaza in order to kill the peace process and create a state of mess in the region.
“Netanyahu by this aggression wants the world to forget about the two-state solution and the timing and aims of this Israeli massacre, are planned”, he said.
He added that with the approach of declaring the Palestinian state, which is due next September, and the approach of President Mahmoud Abbas’s visit to Gaza for national reconciliation , Israel attacks Gaza, kills Palestinians and build more and more settlements; although negotiations halted due to the settlement activities.
Regarding the Goldstone Report, Sobieh said that despite all recent statements, decisions of the report were adopted by the Human Rights Council of the United Nations and these recent crimes will be added to the record of all violations and massacres’ committed by Israel.
