RAMALLAH, April 10, 2011(WAFA) – Ministry of Youth and Sports (MYS) and Palestine Youth Parliament Sunday signed a joint memorandum of understanding(MOU) to develop youth’s participation in all life aspects and promote their values of citizenship.
Ministry’s General Director of Youth Affairs, Walid Atatreh, and Head of Parliament, Musa Abbasi, signed the MOU at the In the ministry's headquarters in Ramallah.
Nezar al-Ajouri, second vice-president of the Parliament who attended the signing, told WAFA that this agreement is to strengthen, and develop the participation of youth in all spheres of life, develop and promote the values of citizenship and civil rights among youth, provide financial and moral support to the parliament, as well as to empower the youth economically, socially and politically.
After signing the MOU, both sides paid an inspection visit to the new headquarters of the parliament which the ministry provided to the parliament within the support plans that are available and approved in the MOU.
