Three Palestinians killed in Israeli Air Strikes on Gaza

 

GAZA, April 9, 2011 (WAFA) – Three Palestinians were killed early Saturday in two separate Israeli air strikes on southern and northern Gaza, according to medical sources.

 

An Israeli drone fired a missile at a car in the Rafah area early in the morning. The missile hit the car, killing two of its occupants and critically wounding a third, said the sources.

 

Hamas identified the three as members of its military wing, Izeddin Al-Qassam Brigades, saying that one of the dead is a senior member of the organization and the second one was his deputy.
 
Later, a missile hit a group of Palestinians in Jabaliya, northern Gaza, killing one person and injuring two others.

 

The killing of the three brings the total of Palestinians Israel had killed since Thursday to 16, including a mother and her daughter, two boys and a man in his 50s. Seven of the dead were members of Al-Qassam Brigades. About 60 were injured some of the reported in critical condition.
