RAMALLAH, APRIL 6, 2011 (WAFA) – Prime minister Salam Fayyad said Wednesday in his weekly radio speech that the Palestinian Authority will go forward to implement projects in the agricultural and rural areas of the West Bank that have been affected by the separation Wall and settlements.
He made special reference to Area C of the West Bank, which is under full Israeli control, and primarily areas behind the Wall and in the Jordan Valley.
The Palestinian Authority approved land guard project in the new Palestinian budget, which aim to provide steady financial support to all families that live in that area to help them overcome Israeli policies to force them out of their land.
He said that nothing will deter the PA from re-paving the Freedom Road in the village of Qarawat Bani Hassan, north of Ramallah, which Israel had destroyed twice to prevent Palestinian villagers from reaching a water spring at the edge of the village.
