RAMALLAH, April 3, 2011 (WAFA)- Palestinian Presidential Spokesman, Nabil Abu Rudeineh, Sunday said that the Palestinian National Authority (PA) will not stop its efforts to prosecute Israeli criminals for the crimes they committed during the Israeli attack on the Gaza Strip two years ago.
He said in a press statement, at the presidency headquarter in Ramallah, that “Whether Goldstone backtracked or not, this doesn’t change the fact that Israel committed war crimes in Gaza; killing more than 1500 civilians”.
He pointed out that Goldstone’s report doesn’t belong to the individual Goldstone; rather, it is a UN document.
Accordingly, United Nations must continue its efforts to investigate the truth regardless of Goldstone’s stance, he said.
