RAMALLAH, April 3, 2011 (WAFA) - (PPC) Palestinian Prisoner’s Club lawyer Sunday said that prisoner Riyad Amour’s health is deteriorating as a result of going into several comas and losing conscious continuously.
The lawyer said that Amour, who is held in Ohli Kidar prison, in Beersheba, south of the West Bank, doesn’t receive required medical treatment from the prison’s administration, adding that the prison’s doctor told Amour his disease is unknown and he can’t help him.
The lawyer pointed out that Amour was treated badly and kept bond at the Siroka hospital, where he was transferred for treatment, causing his health a further deterioration.
PPC called on human rights organizations and those concerned with prisoners’ issue to save the life of prisoner Amour and to scandalize Israeli non-humane practices against prisoners, particularly their deliberate medical negligence policy.
Amour is held in prison since 2002 and he serves 11 life time sentences. He suffers critical health condition due to the Israeli torture during interrogating him.
