JERICHO, March 28, 2011 (WAFA) – Israeli authorities Monday issued deportation orders to 3 Palestinian families in the Jordan Valley area east of the West Bank.
A local official told WAFA that “Israeli authorities handed the families three-day notices to leave before their residences are demolished.”
Head of al-Malih and Bedouin communities in the Jordan Valley, Aref Daraghmeh, said that the families who received the orders have been living in Khirbet Samra, a locale northeast of Jericho city, for decades.
The deportation orders follow several similar orders issued in the last 48 hours to other residents in nearby areas.
