RAMALLAH, March 27, 2011 (WAFA) - The Prisoner’s Club (PPS) Sunday warned of the danger of Jamming devices’ radiations, set up by prisons’ Administrations.

the Club, in its  statement pointed that the administration of Hadarim prison has placed more than 26 jamming device;  which could threaten prisoners’ health.

The prisoners demanded the Israeli Administration of  Prison Service  to remove these raying devices; as the seriousness of their affect on human bodies is still unknown.

The club said that the prison’s administration also put a device to inspect prisoners upon entry and exit, under the pretext  of the possibility of possessing metallic tools. However, this is the second step against Palestinian prisoners, after Hasharon prison’s administration has put an iron and magnetic gate which emits radiations during inspecting the female prisoners.

The club confirmed that putting such devices is of a high risk, especially after the diagnosis of many prisoners with malignant diseases; which have significantly increased lately.
